Company

The government of Prince Edward Island no longer collects water samples or issues water quality certificates for real estate transactions. As a result, there is a need for an independent, third-party, water sample collection company to provide reputable, unbiased service.  Water Wise is such a company.

Founded by Dean Stewart, Certified Environmental Technician, Water Wise is an Island owned, impartial company whose focus is to supply water quality monitoring services to the private, commercial, and tourism sectors, with an emphasis on real estate transactions.

Services

Water Wise provides water sample collection services to a broad range of clients. Bacteria and chemical analysis is required to satisfy most lending institutions for real estate transactions. Bacteria analysis results are a requirement for tourism operations, while disinfection services are a necessity for anyone experiencing water quality problems. Water Wise is happy to provide expertise in all of the above areas.

Included in our fees:

• All water samples collected will be delivered to PEI Analytical Laboratories (accredited by the Standards Council of Canada) for analysis by qualified professional staff
• If needed, advice from an experienced environmental technician on how to rectify water quality problems (ie: abnormal bacteria or chemical analysis results)
• Detailed report including date, time, and location of water sample collection, plus a brief summary of water sample collection procedure.
